Accessibility Statement

We want Shows This Weekend to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards only, voice control, or magnification.

What we aim for

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. In practice that means keyboard-reachable controls with visible focus, sufficient color contrast, text alternatives for meaningful images, labelled form fields, and layouts that work when zoomed or on a small screen. Calendar and show information is plain text on the page, not locked in images.

Known limits

We have not yet had the whole site independently audited, and some pages, particularly older listings and embedded third-party content such as maps, may not fully meet the standard. Listings include links to organizers' own sites, which we do not control.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, email support@showsthisweekend.com with the page address and a description of the problem and the assistive technology you use if relevant. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix problems as quickly as we reasonably can. If you need event information in another form, tell us and we will help.
