About the organizer

A Sami Show is an Austin-based arts and crafts marketplace producer founded in 1975 by a military wife who had been a vendor at Austin shows, with its first show at Austin's Palmer Auditorium that March. Today its shows are held at the Huntington Bank Expo (Bell County Expo Center) in Belton, Texas, including a Thanksgiving-weekend edition. Shoppers find art, handmade crafts, fashion and home decor. Vendors apply online, and the site lays out move-in hours and payment rules. The organizer also started Austin's City-Wide Vintage Sale in 1977.
