About the organizer

The Carolina Renaissance Festival is a 16th-century-style art and entertainment festival just north of Charlotte, North Carolina, with outdoor theater, tournament jousting, falconry, live music, games, rides and feasting. Introduced in 1994 on six acres, it has grown into a twenty-five-acre village on 325 wooded acres and is described as one of the largest Renaissance fairs nationwide.
