About the organizer

The Modern Homesteading Conference is an in-person gathering for people living the homesteading lifestyle, founded by Melissa K. Norris and Katie Millhorn. They created it because homesteaders often feel isolated and benefit from learning from and supporting one another. The event emphasizes sustainability, food security and community, and its organizers recruit speakers with western farming and homesteading experience and volunteers.
