The New York State Sheep & Wool Festival is an annual fiber-arts and agricultural gathering held each October at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York. It brings together fiber enthusiasts, shepherds, artisans and educators for a weekend of hundreds of vendors, hands-on workshops, livestock exhibits and a fleece show and sale. Visitors can also see judged competitions and demonstrations of spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting and felting.
