About the organizer

HamCation is a large amateur radio convention and hamfest sponsored and run by volunteers of the Orlando Amateur Radio Club. It is held each February at the Central Florida Fairgrounds and Expo Park in Orlando, with the 2027 show set for February 12-14. The event spans an 87-acre lakefront fairground and includes commercial vendors, swap and tailgate areas, forums, amateur radio exams and an awards banquet, and it hosts the ARRL Southeastern Division Convention. The club has organized hamfests in Orlando since 1946, so it suits radio hobbyists and their families.
