The Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival is an annual three-day, family-friendly event in Port Aransas, Texas, that showcases the craft of wooden boat building. It was created by staff and volunteers at Farley Boat Works, run by the Port Aransas Preservation and Historical Association, to celebrate the local boat-building heritage that began in 1915. A signature tradition is the Family Boat Build, where four families start building a boat at the opening of the festival and launch it complete by the end.
