About the organizer

The Sawdust Art Festival is a nonprofit arts organization in Laguna Beach, California, that brings artists and audiences together through its summer and winter festivals. Each season its forested grounds become an art village where more than 180 Laguna Beach artists exhibit and sell directly to the public, with hands-on demonstrations and conversations with the makers. The summer festival runs as five three-day weekends, open Friday to Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM, and the organization also offers art classes and a giving society.
