The Cultivated Thread is a small-batch weaving studio in Mid Coast Maine run by weaver Hilary, who makes durable handwoven towels, wearables and home goods from natural fibers. The studio hosts small weaving classes and workshops in a restored timber frame barn, in May and October. It also organizes the Holiday Market at the Hive, a free family-friendly market of Maine farmers and artisans at Dandelion Spring Farm in Bowdoinham, scheduled for November 28 from 11am to 3pm.
