About the organizer

Fort Meigs is a reconstructed War of 1812 fortification on the south bank of the Maumee River in Perrysburg, Ohio, and is the listed host of The 60 Years' War for Ohio: The American Revolution reenactment. Built in early 1813 under Major General William Henry Harrison, it served as a supply depot and forward base and withstood two sieges. Today the reconstructed fort and its landscape let visitors study early American frontier defenses.
