About the organizer

Natural State Overland is an Arkansas overlanding group that promotes the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests as overland destinations and supports Tread Lightly principles and trail access. Each fall it runs Rendezvous in the Ozarks, a three-day overland rally at Mulberry Mountain Lodge, listed for October 15-17, 2026 as its tenth year. The rally offers camping, guided trail runs, gear vendors and skill-building sessions, and it is open to highway-legal 4x4s, adventure bikes and vans, with no ATVs or side-by-sides. The group is also setting up a nonprofit trail advocacy corps.
