About the organizer

The Pilgrimage is a yearly gathering of overlanders and explorers in the mountains of Vermont, centered on South Royalton. Participants explore the state's forgotten Class 4 roads using hand-curated, pre-run route maps, camp together in primitive sites and learn from one another. Registration covers one vehicle, its passengers and a basecamp, with smaller events through the year such as Northern and Southern Excursions. The 2027 gathering runs September 29 to October 3.
