About the organizer

Thunder Creek Long Rifles is a nonprofit, NMLRA-chartered muzzleloading club with a range about eight miles east of Martinsville, Indiana. It holds an open traditional black-powder shoot on the first Sunday of each month except October, starting at 10 AM with paper and metal target matches under NMLRA rules. In October the club hosts its annual rendezvous on the third weekend, with period-correct pre-1840 clothing and lodges and matches such as rifle, smoothbore, pistol, archery and hawk and knife. Access to the property is limited to members except on monthly shoot days.
